What

Freshsound is building a platform to license original music with complete sync rights.

Challenge

From a variety of tests, Freshsound had gotten feedback that it was difficult to use the product. How might Freshsound shape an intuitive experience when licensing music?

Outcomes

Analysis of previous user tests to get a better understanding of challenges.
One-on-one interviews with team members and stakeholder interviews to get a picture of the current state.
Planning and conducting workshops on prioritization.
Redesign of navigation, project creation, project page and checkout.
Continuously support the team with planning, design and user testing.
Laying the foundation for a design system using Figma and Storybook together with a front-end dev.
Supporting in the transition to the Tailwind framework.
Written UX and Brand copy guidelines.
Harmonizing the scattered brand design to enhance the experience of the product.
Created user flows to get an understanding of gaps in the product and used to support discussions when planning and developing features.
Creating prototypes for exploratory concepts and user tests.
